The character of the prisoner in the Palmyra Novel

Abstract

The prison literature was not a modern line in the literature field. It emerged years ago during the poems which are said in the capture and they are called "prison poems" and then it has become mature and complete in the modern literature it included novel، story، poetry and many others. It formed together an important tempting element as part of studies projected theoretical literature.

The character of the prisoner occupies a large place in the prison novels، because they are a main pivot. The novel character con not be categorized under the name of the "prison literature" unless it includes it.

The survey focused on the study of the prisoner character in the Palmyra Prison novel and its branches which must mention because it survey and grants it the character of inclusiveness
