Abstract

 The aim of the research is to know the causes of organizationalconflict and its impact on the intention to leave work. The research wasapplied to the employees of the Central Communications Directorate,who numbered (80) workers. The research used the descriptive approach,and a questionnaire consisting of (17) items was prepared, which includedtwo axial variables (organizational conflict, intention to leave work).Then it was distributed electronically to the research sample of (61)according to the sample law, and the most important findings of theresearch are the Following:

1- There is an organizational conflict between employees at a rate of(70.8%), and an intention to leave work at a rate of (73.6%), which areabove average rates.

2- There is a statistically significant effect of the causes of organizationalconflict on the intention to leave work at the level of statistical significance (5%), where the most influential cause was limited resources,followed by conflict of goals, then lack of determination of powers, and finally ambiguity of the role.

3- There are no statistically significant differences between the averagesof the responses of the members of the research sample about the causesof organizational conflict due to the variable (educational qualification,job title), and there are statistically significant differences between the averages of the responses of the members of the research sample about the causes of organizational conflict due to the variable (sex), at the levelof statistical significance (5%).
