Abstract

 The research dealt with a definition of coronaviruses, then the definition and origin of the new coronavirus in particular, then an explanation of the methods of transmission and prevention of it and its most important symptoms, then the impact of the new coronavirus epidemic on the rulings on funerals, such as the ruling on washing the dead, shrouding him, praying for him, burying him, and offering condolences regarding him 

 In this research, the researcher followed the inductive and analytical method. By tracing the details of the topic by extrapolating the scientific material and the sayings of the scholars on the issue, then rooting the issue, clarifying it, and explaining the legal ruling on it

The comparative approach; By explaining the sayings of the scholars of the sects on the issue, their evidence for it, and the aspects of its significance, in order to arrive at the most likely opinion, while .mentioning on what basis the opinion was chosen
