Abstract

               The research studies the crisis of the Year of Ashes, its size and impact, then explains the economic policies of the Umar administration and the measures taken by deduction, explanation and refutation, based on the Hadiths that were mentioned in explaining the actions of Omar bin Al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, and his orders and administration in this crisis. This is because the period of the rule of Omar ibn al-Khattab, may God be pleased with him, as Caliph of the Muslims, is one of the most important periods in Islamic history. The Islamic state witnessed great expansion, and Islam spread in many countries

so Claliph Omarls reign brought together important catastrophies and events, including the economic crisis of the Gray Year.
