Abstract

In creative work, the character is considered an imaginary virtual character, or it may be realistic, moving within the textual space, moving events, and developing conflict and plot.

The characters within the text are affected in multiple ways through the interactive relationship between the characters and events. The characters develop through this relationship and its impact on the recipient. The environment and events are considered the most prominent factors that affect the character in the creative text.

Popular heritage has a key role in building characters in Walid Ikhlasi’s plays, as popular heritage reflects in his plays the history, concepts, and values of the societies that he addresses in his theatrical texts. Through popular heritage, writer Walid Ikhlasi is inspired by popular traditions, customs, and everything that popular heritage abounds with to add depth and realism to the characters. And theatrical events.Popular heritage gives the reader a sense of connection to personality and following events that revolve around personality, leading to interaction between the recipient and the text.
