Abstract

This research deals with the impact of Al-Nawawi's Hadith science, may Allah have mercy on him, on the Shafi'i school of thought, and explains that Al-Nawawi combined jurisprudence and Hadith, and was not only a Hadith scholar; rather, he was a scholar of Hadith jurisprudence, deriving rulings, Hadith causes and mysteries, and explains how he influenced the Shafi'i school of thought in terms of jurisprudential rulings, as he favored the Shafi'i opinions that agreed with the Hadith, and disagreed with what Al-Rafi'i relied on, in many issues, some of which were mentioned in the research, as he also rejected some supplications that were not authenticated from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, or changed their wording to match what was authenticated from the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
