Issues in which Al-Rafi'i contradicted the text of Imam Al-Shafi'i

Abstract

This research deals with a brief biography of Imam Al-Rafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, which shows that he is the first investigator and scrutinizer of the issues and texts of the school of thought. It also clarifies some of the issues in which Al-Rafi'i contradicted the text of Al-Shafi'i, as he decides and relies on what is contrary to what he stipulated, and clarifies the impact of Al-Nawawi, may Allah have mercy on him, and his efforts in clarifying the issues that were contradicted to the text of Al-Shafi'i, may Allah have mercy on him. The study did not cover all the issues, but The study represented them with some examples, out of desire to alert students of knowledge and researchers not to rush to quote from one imam, and attribute his words to the school of thought.
