This research sheds light on a prominentleader among contemporary Muslims who left a significant impact on the Jihad in Palestine against the British occupation. He is Izz al-Din al-Qassam, a leader from Jableh, Syria, who fought against the French occupation in Syria. After memorizing the Quran in his youth, he was nurtured in the circles of knowledge and thought during his formative years and understood that Jihad is the path to honor for the people of Islam. He subsequently continued his Jihadist journey in Palestine, spreading awareness and faith, urging others to engage in Jihad for the liberation of sacred sites. He instilled this conviction in the hearts of many Muslims and prepared and trained hundreds of Mujahideen who would carry on his mission after him. Having sacrificed himself for the sake of Allah, he ignited the flame of Jihad against the British occupier and their ally, the Jews. Through his martyrdom, he emphasized the idea of resisting the occupier rather than negotiating, as dialogue proves ineffective against those who understand only the language of iron and fire
