Abstract

 Verbal subscriber is a phenomenon found in general languages, in contradiction between learners about this phenomenon, from its definition to the recognition of its existence or its denial, to the reasons for its emergence and its results, a dispute caused by the different approaches and methods that they followed in their studies, One of the areas of difference in this study of the phenomenon is the types of verbal subscriber, as some linguists classified the subscriber by relying on the meanings denoted by the word, so the verbal subscriber is binary or multiple, or by relying on the type of meaning, it is central or marginal, which makes the word from the verbal subscriber, and dependence may be On the history and use of the word, the subscriber is a multiplicity of meaning or homogeneity, what are the types of verbal subscriber, and how is a distinction between these types, and what ways linguists have adopted in their different approaches to distinguishing between these types, will be the answer On these questions the focus and purpose of this research.
