Abstract

 The literary prison forms formed a fertile field for the writers and thinkers to seek for its depths to take out new horizon and wealthy literary results. The survey tackled the character of the jailer in the Palmyra novel، because it is a pivot character in it. The writer dealed with what hide behind this inhuman model and what the jailer uses in taming the prisoner. It deals with stages to reach the ideal picture which is presented in the novel.
