This research studies a form of interpretation on the meaning between names in the number argument, which is the interpretation of singular nouns on the meanings of other names, whether they are dual or plural, and makes Sahih Muslim a field of application, extracting evidence and clarifying phenomena.
The research came out on two basic requirements, one of them: the interpretation of the singular on the meaning of the dual, and the majority in it is that the singular is one of two things that only come together, or that it is indicative of the gender, so it includes the dual and more, and the other: Interpretation of the singular on the meaning of the plural, and talked in it about: (which indicates gender, the indefinite object to which the superlative (afa’al) is added, plural nouns, names of tribes and peoples, unknown words, separate nouns).
Then he concluded a set of results, the most prominent of which is that the gender indication in the word allows it to express the number in various forms, and if two nouns were in harmony and harmony, one of them was interpreted on the other and performed its meaning.
