Evaluation of the Textbook 'My Arabic Language' for Fourth Grade in the First Cycle of Basic Education from the Teachers' Perspective

he aim of the research is to evaluate the textbook 'My Arabic Language' for fourth grade in the first cycle of basic education from the teachers' perspective. To achieve the research objective, the researcher designed an evaluation tool consisting of 68 items distributed across five domains: general appearance and artistic presentation, content, images and illustrations, language and presentation style of the book, and exercises. After ensuring the validity and reliability of the tool, the researcher applied it to a sample of 669 male and female teachers. The researcher employed a descriptive-analytical approach. The research yielded the following results:
1-The overall evaluation score of the teachers for the Arabic language textbook 'My Language' was good.
2-There were no statistically significant differences at a significance level of 0.05 in the mean scores of the teachers' evaluation according to variables such as gender and academic qualification.
The research concluded with some recommendations and suggestions, including the establishment of a curriculum development committee in Northwestern Syria and making modifications to the images and illustrations in the book.
